About Drew

It’s okay if you can’t spell his last name – even some magazines can’t!

Drew Kennerley is one of DC’s busiest full-time magicians! At just 26-years-old, Drew entertains audiences of all sizes and of all ages. Drew combines illusion, humor, and participation creating memories that has people talking for weeks to come!

How did it all start? Drew was first bitten by the magic bug as a kid when he was gifted a simple magic kit from his grandmother. This life-long passion blossomed as he started performing magic shows for family and friends.

After lots of encouragement, Drew started performing magic professionally at the age of 15 – with his mom driving him to his first magic show.

Now 26, Drew’s goal is to spread joy & smiles wherever his magical adventures take him. His mom no longer drives him to shows.

A Virginia native, Drew enjoys traveling around the DC/Maryland/Virginia area wowing audiences, both young and old. Drew entertains at any chance he gets – from living rooms to theatres to airport waiting lines, Drew views each magic trick as a new opportunity to spark the child-like wonder in all of us.

A graduate of Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Drew later went on to study at James Madison University – commuting to DC every weekend to perform shows.

Drew works hard everyday practicing magic, reading about magic, booking gigs, planning magic shows, and creating new illusions – and he loves every second of it!

And some magazines aren’t even close!

Drew is a member of and regularly performs for the Society of American Magicians assemblies in Fairfax and Winchester, Virginia.

Along with his dedication to the art of magic, Drew also devotes much of his time to juggling, longboarding, motorcycling, hiking, and his adoration of all art forms. Drew enjoys meeting and learning about new people and would love to talk to you – even if you don’t plan on hiring him!
